Earl Rutter

Earl Rutter, 69, of Havelock, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Jim Daub officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Mr. Rutter retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by three sisters, Jean Ericson  and Sue Ramthun both of Tomahawk,WI and Shirley Sadowski of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Jerry Rutter of Forsyth, MO and Mike Rutter of Hampshire, IL.

He was prceded in death by his wife, Peggy Rutter, and his parents, Ervin and Sarah Rutter.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in memory of Earl Rutter, 305 US Hwy 70 W, Havelock, NC 28532.
