Earl Chadwick

Earl McDonald Chadwick, 88, of Marshallberg, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010.
Mr. Chadwick was a member of Marshallberg Baptist Church. He was a veteran and served in the US Coast Guard during WWII. He was a forever proud commercial fisherman and a founding member of Marshallberg Community Club.
Services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday at Marshallberg Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Through the Woods Cemetery.
He is survived by daughters, Sharon Willis of Harkers Island and Bonnie Nelson of Straits; sons, Darryl Chadwick of Marshallberg and Temple Chadwick of Gloucester; brother, Alton Chadwick of Marshallberg; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Chadwick; parents, John M. Chadwick and Beatrice L. Chadwick; brothers, Guion Chadwick and Edward "Sug" Chadwick and a granddaughter, Angia Nelson.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday at Marshallberg Baptist Church.
