Dorothy Foy

Dorothy Foy, 85. of Newport, died Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Foy was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star-Beaufort Chapter # 128, where she received her 50 year pin, and was an active volunteer in the Methodist Thrift Store.
Services will be held 11:00 am Monday at St. James United Methodist Church with interment following at 2:00 pm Monday at Onslow Memorial Park.
She is survived by cousins, L.W. Thomas and wife Audrey of Jacksonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Thurman Foy and her mother, Lila Mae Russ.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
