Doris G. Thompson, 76, of Morehead City, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at her home.
Mrs. Thompson was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Morehead City. She was born in Nash County and she and her family moved to Carteret County in 1971.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 29, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church, Morehead City with Rev. Tim Havlicek officiating.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, C.G. "Cotty" Thompson; daughter, Elana McClure and husband Joey of Morehead City; son, Scott Thompson and wife Angie of Apex and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, May 28, 2010 at Munden Funeral Home, 2112 Arendell St., Morehead City.
