Donna Marie Tomon

Donna Marie Tomon, 62, of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Hospital.
Donna was a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 38 years in Wake County, Onslow County, and Camp Lejeune.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 am Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Annunciation Catholic Church with Father Bill Upah officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in New Bern. Donna is survived by her brother, Lt.Col Robert Tomon, USMC Ret. and wife Cathy of Newport, NC; niece, Jennifer Tomon Stephens and husband Christopher of Hillsborough, NC; nephews, Robert Tomon Jr. of Newport, NC and Brian Tomon of Chapel Hill, NC; great niece, Natalie Stephens of Hillsborough, NC; and great nephew, Christopher Stephens Jr. of Hillsborough, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Anne (Stabingas) Tomon.
The family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
