Donna Yevonne Smith, 51, of Newport passed away Saturday February 16, 2013 at Harborview Health Center.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Newport Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Donna was a member of Newport Baptist Church.
She is survived by her father Charles Lindbergh Smith, Sr. of Newport: her mother Effie Riggs Smith of Newport: brother Charles Lindbergh Smith, Jr., and wife JoAnn of Portsmouth, VA: nephew Brian Smith and wife Diane of Chesapeake, VA, and Jason Smith of Alexandria, VA: and a great nephew Hunter O'Neal of Newport.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Newport Baptist Church.
Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to the Newport Baptist Church Building Fund 312 Chatham St. Newport, NC 28570.
