Donald "DC" Cuttino Howard

Donald "Howard" Howard, 74, of Salter Path, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at his home surrounded by family.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Salter Path United Methodist Church with Rev. David Bratton and Rev. Clyde Cheezum officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He served his country for four years in the US Coast Guard.
He is survived by two daughters Darlene Lewis and husband Tommy of Salter Path, and Stephanie Harvey of Salter Path; sisters Rena Mullins and husband Harlis of Andrews, SC, and Linda Feathers and husband David of Gray, TN; four brothers LC Howard and wife Kitty of Georgetown, SC, Earmon Howard of Scranton, SC, Elbert Howard of Jamestown, SC, and Roger Howard of Georgetown, SC; grandchildren Jordan Harvey of Salter Path, Lindsey Harvey of Salter Path, Patrick Samonds of Salter Path, and Sherena Ward of Newport; and great granddaughter Haley Ward of Newport. Howard was also a father and grandfather to his nieces and nephews Tommy, Tina, Tony, and Tracy Ward.
He was preceded in death by his wife Violet Howard, his parents Louie and Ellen Howard, three sisters Virginia Russ Ackerman, Elouise Taylor, and Barbara Howard, and one brother Cecil Howard.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 Saturday at Salter Path United Methodist Church.
