Capt.Donald Lee Willis, 86, of Sea Level, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at home surrounded by family.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Monday at Sea Level United Methodist Church with Rev. Darcy Knight, Rev. Paul Harris, and Rev. Bob Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Shell Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter Paula Kathryn Bunch of Sea Level; two sons Perry Wyman Willis of Sea Level, and Donald Earl Willis of Gloucester; five grandchildren William Tyler Willis of Gloucester, Miriam Louise Jones of Sea Level, Kimberly Dawn Smith of Cedar Island, Cythnia Ray Allred of Bettie, and Jane Wyman Stockinger of High Point; ten great grandchildren Kenneth Ray Jones, Louis Gordon Jones, Emily Christina Jones, Jasmine Elaine Smith, Adrian Wayne Smith, Alexander Wyman Smith, Destiny Michele Smith, Brandy Ray Allred, Gaige Monroe Allred, and Jessica Sophia Stockinger; and one great great grandchild Travis Parker Smith.
He is preceded in death by his wife Myra Louise Lewis, parents Dorothy Robinson and James Willis, brother James Ray Willis, sister Madeline Nelson, and nephew Rodney Nelson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
