Dolores Clark

Dolores Clark, 85, formerly of Newport, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at her home in Summerville, South Carolina.

Her funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., Monday, August 1, at Community Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Billy Knox. The family will receive friends an hour prior. For those unable to attend, the service can be viewed through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days. Her graveside service will be held at 9 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, at Gethsemane Memorial Park.     (See link below for the Service Bulletin including the Order of Service.)

Dolores was born on December 19, 1936, in Clio, Michigan, to the late Leonard and Leatha Princing. Dolores loved the Lord and was always involved with her Church family. When she lived in Carteret County, NC she was a member of Community Baptist Church, and when she moved to Charleston, SC, she became a member of Coastal Light Baptist Church. Dolores will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, proud grandmother and adoring great grandmother to her wonderful family.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Kuhl (Michael) of Newport; sons, Anthony Clark of Havelock, Robert Clark (Jim Nugent) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Douglas Clark Jr. (Becky) of Summerville, SC, and Matthew Moros (Amy) of Gaines, MI; grandchildren, Samantha Cranfield, Alexander Kuhl, Danielle Hooper, Cameron Clark, Andrew Clark, Nathan Clark, Aaron Clark, Devan Mitchell, Jakob Moros, and Jordan Moros; and great grandchildren, Caidance, Caisalyn, Riggin, Braycen, Zoey, Dylan, Elizabeth, Kezley, and Lily Mae.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Douglas A. Clark Sr.; sister, Peggy Montpas; and brother, Marlin Princing.
