D. P. Wallace Jr., 70, of Cape Carteret died Saturday November 20, 2010 at the family home.
Funeral Services will be held, 7 P M Monday Evening at The White Oak Church of God. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 PM at the church prior to the service. Burial will be held 11: A M. Tuesday at Westview Cemetery in Kinston North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Wallace of the family home and four children, daughter Natalie Wallace McKeel and husband Buster of Grifton, two sons, Dillard P. Wallace III and wife Melinda, Neal Wallace and wife Crystal both of Kinston, and one stepson Ken Hines of Cape Carteret. Grandchildren, Brian McKeel of Grifton, Tyler Wallace and Nicholas Wallace both of Greenville, Brittany Wallace, Joshua Wallace, Jared Wallace all of Kinston. Great Grandchildren Abby Jarvis and Zachary Jarvis both of Bath. Grandson in law, Todd Jarvis of Bath. One Sister, Nancy Wallace Coleman and Husband Lonnie of Hillsborough and Special Friend Brent Saunders of Raleigh.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Faye Hill Wallace, Granddaughter Kelly McKeel Jarvis , his Parents Dillard P Wallace and Lucille Register Wallace, and special K-9 companion “ Lady ”
