Diana "Gail" Zingg
October 29, 1945 — April 11, 2016
Diana Gail Zingg, 70, of Newport, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
The family will conduct a celebration of life at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Holly Springs Original Free Will Baptist Church, Newport.
Diana was a devoted member of Holly Springs Original Free Will Baptist Church, where she belonged to the choir and the Ladies Auxiliary Club. She was also an active advocate for the youth of her church.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Poe; son, Robert Frye II of Middletown, MD; brother, Milton J. Russell, Jr. of Morehead City; sisters, Carol Ann Keller of Silver Springs, MD, Martha Styron of Beaufort, Dixie Lee Reidford of Olney, MD; and three grandchildren, Joseph Frye, Quincy Poe and Samuel Poe.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn Marie Frye; parents, Milton J. and Evelyn Wright Russell; brother, Stanley Douglas Russell; and sister, Linda Baker.
