Dennis B. Scott, 66, of Harkers Island, died Tuesday May 7, 2012, at Taylor Extended Care.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Manley Rose and Rev. Clinton Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
He is survived by four children Michelle Scott Moore of Beaufort, Dennis Bryon Scott II of Morehead City, Bobbette Adams of Sea Level and Marty Adams of Sea Level: three sisters Ginny Jones of Harkers Island, Carolyn Styron of Cedar Island, and Sheila Dixon of Beaufort: one brother Lionel Scott of Harkers Island: seven grandchildren: and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lila Mae Scott, and his wife of 42 years Patricia Ann Scott.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
