Denis J. Bychowski

Denis J. Bychowski, 78, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021, at Carteret Health Care.

Denis was born on April 16, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Edward August Bychowski and Angela Ruth Bychowski. His incredible skill and attention to detail allowed him to be an excellent Building Engineer for the Chicago Board of Education. He loved fishing and spending time near the water. Going to the Dollar Tree was always a fun activity for Denis as he always enjoyed a bargain. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in his heart.

He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Marie Bychowski of Chicago, IL, Christine Marie Ryan and husband Michael of Plainfield, IL, Denise Jo Bychowski of Morehead City, Ericka Lynn LeForce and husband Charles of Oswego, IL; son, Dale Roy Werasing and wife Mary of Elmwood Park, IL; sisters, Rosemary Roach of Delaware, Joan Marie McCallum and husband Robert of St. Petersburg, FL, and Francis Star of Chicago, IL; brothers, Peter S. Bychowski and wife Terry of Marengo, IL and Michael Bychowski of Chicago, IL; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ruth Bychowski; and brothers, Philip M. Bychowski, George Bychowski, and Patrick Bychowski.
