Dell Upton Miller, Jr.

Dell Miller, Jr. , 72, of Newport, passed away December 29, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Reece's Chapel with Rev. James Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow at Amariah Garner Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Miller of the home; seven children, Michelle Fulford of Newport, Lavonda Miller of Newport, Teresa Lilly of Newport, Dell Upton Miller, III of New Bern, Bonnie West of New Bern, David Cheek of Oxford and Tina Cheek of Newport; two sisters, Dottie Everington and Barbara Salter; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Thomas Miller.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
