Her caring nature was evident through her work as a caregiver where she assisted numerous people over three decades.
Deirdre took great pride in her yard, her love of gardening made sure she kept her home in tip top shape. Deirdre loved to cook for her family, always enjoyed being on the water and was known for her great dancing moves.
She is survived by her devoted husband, James Walker Guthrie of the home; daughters, Fiona Maureen of Jacksonville, and Roisin McGowan of Pennsylvania; step son, James “Jamie” Walker Guthrie Jr. of Otway; sisters, Noreen Bayliff of Pennsylvania, Oonagh McCune (Patty) of Michigan and Patricia Kramer of Pennsylvania; brother, Damian O’Connor (Mary) of Michigan; grandchildren, Devaney Rose, Autumn Raene and Alivia Brynn; great grandchildren, Sunny Seanead; and godchildren, David Patrick and Michiel Connor.
