Debbra “Debbi” Lynn Bowen, 68, of Havelock, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Carolina East Medical Center.
Services for Debbra will be announced at a later date.
Debbra was born on August 15, 1952, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to the late Donald and Helen Lemen. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Debbra took great joy in making those around her happy and had a reputation for being quite the jokester. Many in the Havelock area will remember her from her position as Store Manager at the Handy Mart at Ketner Blvd. and Highway 70. In her free time, she loved to read, crochet, and play a good game of Bingo. Debbra was a beloved wife and mother, heaven has truly gained an angel.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Christopher Bowen of the home; daughter, Amanda Lynn Bowen Clancy and husband Gerald of Austin, PA; sons, Christopher Jerald Bowen Jr. of Roanoke, VA, and Carl Roger Bowen and wife Jennifer of Gloucester, VA; brothers, Dennis Lemen and Donald Lemen; grandchildren, Helen Bowen of Austin, PA and Charles Clancy of Austin, PA, and Gabriel Bowen of Gloucester, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Hargett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Disabled American Veterans at 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
