Dean Alan Agee, 51, of Havelock, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Rev. Wesley Holmes officiating. Burial will be private.
Dean was born June 24, 1962 in Norfolk, VA. He was the son of Louis and Peggy Agee and the husband of Regina Louk Agee. He was an Aviation Sheet Metal Mechanic, first at NADEP, Norfolk, VA and then at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. He served faithfully for 33 years. He graduated from Cox High School in Virginia Beach. VA and attended Old Dominion University in Virginia. He loved his family and worked hard for them. He loved his work and was an avid boater and fisherman. He enjoyed raising and tending a vegetable garden every summer.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 30 years, Regina Agee; a son Christopher Agee and wife Mallory; grandchildren Gabriel Alan Agee, and Luke Alan Agee, from Leland, NC; a daughter Chrystal McGinnis and her husband Jason "Mac" McGinnis, and grandchildren, Jason Scott McGinnis, II and Ryan Dean McGinnis of Stella, NC; a brother, Dennis Agee from Virginia Beach, VA; and his parents, Louis and Peggy Agee of Virginia Beach, VA. He also leaves other relatives, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and his two pets, Smokey, and Bandit.
