David Eugene Whitehead, 66, of Morehead City, NC died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at his residence.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, NC.
Mr. Whitehead is survived by his daughter, Wendy A. Bass and husband, Brad of Edenton, NC; grandchildren, Joelle, Christian, and Jayden of Edenton, NC; sister, Faye Dixon and husband, Milton of Raleigh, NC; mother, Doris Davis of Raleigh, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Worth Whitehead.
The family will receive friends after the service at the home of his mother.
