David S. Schrock

David S. Schrock, age 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family, on September 25th, 2022.

David was born in Chula Vista, California. He served proudly in the US Coast Guard, attaining the rank of 2nd Class Petty Officer. David was proud to serve his Country through military service, government, and civilian postings, retiring as a Network Engineer. David and Gabi enjoyed many traveling opportunities after his retirement.

He was a true man of the sea who enjoyed boating, fishing, or holding down sand on the beach. Additionally, David was a gifted woodworker and finishing carpenter. He could often be found in his workshop working on projects, home improvements, or perhaps a surprise for Gabi. At all times his buddy, Mr. Ebenezer Socks, could be found at his side.

David is survived by his wife, Gabriele Schrock, of the home; daughters, Kelli Shedd (Doug), and Kacie Wondolowski (Joseph) both of Jacksonville, Fl; stepdaughters, Nicole Gebo (Kevin), of Morehead City, NC, Tiffany McCurdy of Wilmington, NC; sister, Heidi Koppelkam (Mark) of Hull, MA; brothers, Donald J. Schrock of Rindge, NH, and Daniel E. Schrock of Nashua, NH. David’s 9 grandchildren were a joy in his heart.

He is preceded by his parents Donald F. and Claire H. Schrock of Jefferson, ME.
