David was born on May 5, 1974, in Morehead City, North Carolina, to Fletcher and Kate Noe. He graduated from West Carteret High School with the Class of 1992, where he was an active member of the school band.
Living on the coast was a perfect match for his love of nature. David thoroughly enjoyed the great outdoors and was an avid fisherman, boater, and hunter, who had a great passion for duck and deer hunting. He also had a fierce determination with CrossFit and always persevered through the grueling yet great-feeling workouts. Sports were a big part of his life as well. David was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Braves, always rooting for his favorite teams and rarely missing watching their games.
David had a special talent for cooking hogs and even competed in local contests. Not only did he enjoy the process but most importantly, he looked forward to bringing people together for fun times and a great meal.
David selflessly volunteered with the local fire departments and emergency medical services. He also volunteered with Upward Sports promoting a relationship with the Lord through sports. His dedication to serving others was an inspiration to all who knew him and a testament to his compassionate nature.
Above all, David cherished his role as a father and adored spending time with his children. He treasured every moment he shared with them, creating lasting memories through shared adventures and laughter.
Those remaining to cherish his memory are his children, Taylor Katelyn Noe and David Fletcher Noe Jr., both of Morehead City; parents, Fletcher and Kate Noe of Morehead City; sister, Rebecca Morris and husband Jeff of Stella; aunt, Janet Turner of Morehead City; uncle, John Van Horn of West Palm Beach, FL; niece, Luci Morris; nephew, Davis Morris; and several cousins.
David was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roper and Alma Van Horn, and his paternal grandmother, Golda Hill.
