David "Dave" Ira Mensch

David "Dave" Ira Mensch, 92, of Croatan Village in New Bern, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Carolina East Medical Center.
A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday at Core Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Judy Billings officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Mr. Mensch served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Mensch of the home; daughter, Patricia Ann Foreman and husband Buddy of Core Creek; three grandchildren, Teresa Mooney and husband Ed, Kristina Lewis and husband Daniel, and Tommy Foreman and wife Christine; five great-grandchildren, Christopher Mooney, Austin Mooney, Logan Mooney, Ryan Foreman and Zackery Foreman; two sisters, Crola Mae Walker of Maryland and Carol Garber of Tennessee; and brother, John Mensch of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Miriam Mensch, daughter, Susan Marie Mensch, and eight siblings.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
