Daphne Morton Temple

Mrs. Daphne Morton Temple, 92, of Temples Point, NC, a very loving generous Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother died December 30, 2012.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Temple Family Cemetery at Temples Point Road.
Mrs. Temple was born December 3, 1920 in Swansboro to the late Andrew J. Morton and Georgia Canady Morton.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Webb Temple, Sr., sister, Bertha Carr of Goldsboro and her brother, Julian R. Morton.
She is survived by her four children, Mary Lou Bell and husband Gene of Havelock, Kay Copley and husband Kent of Macon, Earl W. Temple, Jr. and wife Ann of New Bern, and Jackie Temple, Sr. and wife Sallie of Temples Point; also ten grandchildren, Earl Temple, III and wife, Mitzi, J.C. Bell, Sherry Falls and husband Vernon, Linda Bell, Stephanie Gooch and husband Robbie, Bettina Jahr and husband Sean, Daphanie Turner and husband Jeremy, Jackie Temple, Jr. and wife Sheila, William Temple, and MaryKent McIntyre and husband Brent; 14 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind a sister Vera Provost of Swansboro; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth T. Vick and Lorraine Temple both of Beaufort.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home, also 12:00 - 1:30 pm Wednesday at Harlowe United Methodist Church.
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
