Daphne Hardy Hill

Daphne Hardy Hill, 97, of South River, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care in Sea Level.
Her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Edwards Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Wilbur Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Cannon Family Cemetery in South River.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Taylor of Morehead City, Marsha Tosto and husband Elzie, Sharon Norman and husband Ronald, and Katherine Goodwin and husband Charlie all of South River; son, Gaston Neil Hill and wife Genny of South River; 10 grandchildren, Rodney Blake Taylor, Jr., Julia Nelson, Albert Tosto, Angie Pittman, Adam Tosto, Cindy Dunn, Roger Norman, Rhonda Mason, Josh Cahoon, and Jason Hill; 16 great-grandchildren, Chloe, Maya, Brady, Evan, Kent, Cameron, Rylee, Garrett, Jonathan, Meagan, Ayden, Nicholas, Maddison, Jacob, Sabrina, and Joshua; and one great-greatgrandchild, Noah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaston Hill, and her parents, Joshua and Arlettie Mason Hardy.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
