Daniel "Danny" Evan Jackson

Daniel “Danny” Evan Jackson, 68, of Swansboro, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Peletier Missionary Baptist Church.

Danny was born December 10,1953, in Portsmouth, Virginia to the late Thomas and Eleanor Jackson. He was a member of Peletier Missionary Baptist Church. He was a musician for almost 50 years, playing drums, guitar and singing Country and Classic Rock Music. He started out playing with local bands, before playing alongside of John Anderson, Merle Haggard, and David Allen. People enjoyed watching him perform and listening to his music.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Jackson; daughters, Amber Elise Stone of Wilmington and April Elizabeth Edwards of New York; sister, Lori Jones of Swansboro; brother, Tommy Jackson of Swansboro; niece, Deanna Bloom; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
