Daniel Earl Russell

Beloved husband and father, Daniel Earl Russell, 66, of Bogue, went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 17, 2014 at his home with his family by his side.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Taylor's Family Cemetery with Pastor Grant Russell and Sheldon Russell officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Pecoraro Russell of the home; children, Mitchell Ray Russell and wife Lynn Russell,Jennifer Whitten Liddick, April Russell McGilvery and husband Jeffrey McGilvery and Matthew Aaron Cannon and wife Sarah Cannon all of Newport; grandchildren, Jacoby Ray Ehrler, William Hunter Russell, Ashlynn Marie Ehrler, Christian Douglas Liddick, Riley David McGilvery, Alexis Marie Liddick, Madison Elizabeth Russell and Matthew Aaron Cannon, Jr.; siblings, Dora Lee Morton and husband Charles Morton of Hubert, Homer Keith Russell of Wildwood, Linda Lou Smith and husband Ronnie Smith of Morehead City, Blinnie Faye Russell Mason of Bogue, and Kathy Russell and husband Billy Russell of Casar.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lala Mae ( Taylor) Russell, father, Daniel Webster Russell, sisters, Inez Bennett, Arnette Riggs, Velna Lewis and Connie Russell, and brother, Ralph Russell.
The family will receive friends following the service at the family home.
