Daniel "D.N." McCain, 77, of Newport, died Saturday,May 29, 2010, at Carolina East Medical Center.
Mr. McCain was a veteran and served in the USMC.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Cannady Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Faye G. McCain; daughters, Teresa Miller and husband Tom of Beaufort and Wendy McCain of Newport; son, Dennis McCain and wife Krysta of Wilmington; adopted daughter, Von Sexton of Newport; six grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Erin Miller and Jordan Miller, all of Beaufort, Morgan McCain of Newport and Emma McCain and Wade McCain, both of Wilmington and a sister, Linda Armstrong of West Monroe, LA.
The family will receive friends 6:00 TO 8:00 pm Monday at the church.
