Daniel Carson Lewis, Jr., 43, of Bettie, passed away Saturday, March 16­, 2019, at his home.

His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Manley Rose, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Nicole Lewis of Beaufort; son, Ryan Taylor Lewis of Atlantic Beach; mother, Vera Nixon and husband Gerald of Smyrna; sisters, Veronica Huff of Davis, Regina Davis and husband Brandon of Harkers Island, Krystle Nixon of Bettie, Danielle Hopewell of Newport; brother, Gerald Nixon, Jr., of Smyrna; grandmother, Sadie Mae Lewis; aunts, Violet Gillikin and husband Kyle, Lois Hester and husband Anthony; uncles, Mitch Lewis and wife Melinda, Blake Lewis and wife Tina, Jim Willis Lewis and Stuart Nelson and wife Valerie, Claude “Nook” Lewis, Grady Lewis; sister-in-law, in Natalie Bashor; nieces and nephews, Robert Huff, Jr., Daniel Wade Huff and wife Samantha, Conner Alexander Huff, Karleigh Davis, Jacob Cardona and Hayden Cardona; great-nephew, Jaiden Huff.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rachel Lewis; father, Daniel Carson Lewis; grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Nelson; grandfather, James “Danny Boy” Lewis; uncle, Buddy Nelson; and brother-in-law, Robert Huff.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home.
