Cynthia Willis Kreager

Cynthia (Cindy) Willis Kreager died at her home December 25, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.

A Funeral Service will be held at Stacy Free Will Baptist Church Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2:00pm. Pastor Ernest Laxton will be officiating. Burial will follow at Nelson Bay Cemetery in Sea Level. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 6-8pm at Stacy Free Will Baptist Church.

Cindy was born on July 15, 1969 at Sea Level Hospital in Sea Level, NC. She will be remembered for her kind, loving spirit and her dedication to her family and her community. She was a board member at Atlantic Elementary School PTO, a Den leader and board member for down east Cub Scout pack 252 and a camp counselor for Croatan Trails Cub day camp. Cindy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.

Cindy was a 1987 graduate of East Carteret High School and then went onto achieve a Bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University.

She is survived by her husband Barry Kreager; sons, Travis, Logan and BJ of the home and daughter Danielle Lutz & husband Dustin of New Albany, Ohio; parents, Raymond Lee and Treva Nelson of Stacy and Johnnie Willis of Gloucester, brothers; John Willis and Lee Nelson of Stacy, Mark Morton of Newport and Shawn Willis of Nashville, TN, and sister, Teresa Lee of Wallace, SC.

Flowers are welcome or donations in the memory of Cynthia Kreager in the form of gift cards made to the American Cancer Society McConnell-Raab Hope Lodge, 930-A Wellness Dr. Greenville, NC 27834.
