Cornelia "Connie" Anne Romeis, 78, of Newport formerly of Rockford, IL died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her home with family.
The family will hold services at a later date.
Connie is survived by her husband Paul J. Romeis of the home; two daughters Jennifer Manock and husband Dr. Stephen of Newport, TN, and Laura Waligora and husband Rev. Norm of Newport, NC; a son Christopher Todd Romeis and wife Pam of Loves Park, IL; two brothers Thomas Knowles of Park Ridge, IL, and Peter Knowles of Arlington Heights, IL; two sisters Christine Stevenson of Poplar Grove, IL, and Faith Reese of Rockford, IL; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father William H. Knowles, and her mother Laura Knowles.
