Corey Alan Penny, 22, of Morehead City, died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. William Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Alan Ray and Denise Penny of Morehead City; mother and step-father, Teresa Diane Jones and Jonathan Nelson of Morehead City; sister, Chelsea Delane Nelson of Morehead City; three step-brothers, Mark O'Brien of Havelock, Steven Boisvert and Joshua Boisvert both of Morehead City; grandparents, Ernest and Hulda Penny of South River, Tom and Cecile Ramsey of Newport, Myron and Deanie Jones of Morehead City, Allen and Jane Nelson of Morehead City and Sharon O'Brien of Long Island, NY; and great-grandmothers, Verlie Odom Jones of Morehead City and Skip DeVita of Newport .
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
