Cora C. Kielwein

Cora C. Kielwein, 82, of Orange, TX, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010, at The Meadows in Orange.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, December 4, 2010, at Gethsemane Memorial Park in Morehead City, NC.

Born in Frankfort, OH on September 13, 1928, Cora was the daughter of George W. and Margaret (Sims) Yates. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #289 in Cherry Point, NC for over 50 years. Cora was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #2041 in Beaufort, NC, the Order of the White Shrine in New Bern, NC and a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Morehead City, NC.

Cora is survived by her daughter, Zehron Stroud and husband Barry of Orange, TX; son, John Kielwein, Jr. and wife Debbie of Edenton, NC; granddaughter Jennifer Leigh Ulrich and husband Don; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Audrey Ulrich of Rocky Mount, NC; nephew, Ronald Yates and wife Carol of Newport, NC; and other nieces and nephews in Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Kielwein.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
