Colleen Gregory Duncan

Colleen Gregory Duncan, 87, of Newport, went home to be with Jesus around 6:15pm Wednesday, October 11, 2017 after a brief illness at Carteret Health Care. She is free from all earthly pain and sorrow and we celebrate her homegoing!

Her Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, October 14, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Morehead City, officiated by Pastor Darrell Williams. The family will have a private graveside service.

Colleen was a charter member of Northside Baptist Church in Burlington, and after moving to Newport joined First Baptist Church of Morehead City. She was an incredible servant for the Lord, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Duncan Lockey and husband Tim of Newport and Lori Colleen Duncan of Newport; and son, Craig Terrell Duncan and wife Peggy of Goodlettsville, TN; also seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell King Duncan; and her parents, Lewis Henry Gregory and Nona Faye Wilmouth Gregory.

Family will receive friends following the service at First Baptist Church in the Family Life Center.
