Cody Robert Johnson, 24, of Newport, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Carolina East Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Amariah Garner Cemetery.
Cody was formerly of Virginia Beach, VA.
He is survived by mother Kathleen Wilkins and husband Larry of Newport; father Mark Johnson and wife Denise of Chesapeake, VA; sisters Casey Johnson of Hubert, NC, Megan Johnson of Morehead City, NC, Melanie Page and husband David of Littleton, CO, and Jennifer Littlefield of Chesapeake, VA; brother Daniel Blake of Virginia Beach, VA; maternal grandmother Fern Guarino of Greencastle, PA; paternal grandparents Ansel and Mildred Johnson of Curwensville, PA; five nieces and nephews Tyler Page, Tatiana Johnson, Jayden Littlefield, Logan Littlefield, and Natalya Johnson: and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Clarence Rollin, and grandmother Gladys Rollin.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
