Claude Tolson Murdoch, Jr.

Claude Tolson Murdoch, Jr, was born June 27, 1931 to Mamie Estelle Glancy and Claude Tolson Murdoch in Newport, NC and passed away April 30, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
Graveside services will be Friday May 2, 2014 at 2 at Gethsemane Memorial Park on Highway 24 were he will be laid to rest beside his wife Jessie Ruth Bell Murdoch, with Rev. James Gurganus officiating.
For many years he worked at Conner Homes and later worked for LB Page Landscaping until his retirement.
He is survived by his son Milton Murdoch and wife Cathey and two grandchildren Bessie Leanne Murdoch and Sarah Estelle Murdoch and one sister Lois Murdoch Bryan.
He was predeceased by his wife Jessie Ruth Bell Murdoch and his sister Anne Murdoch Bryan and brother Clarence Murdoch.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Greater Carolina Multiple Sclerosis Society, 3101 Industrial Dr Suite 210, Raleigh, NC 27609 or to the Carteret County Animal Shelter PO Box 357 Newport, NC.
