Claude Hill, 78, of Mill Creek, died Thursday, October 9, 2014 at his home surrounded by family.
A funeral service will be held 3:30 Saturday at Reece's Chapel with Rev. Winky Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow at Chadwick Family Cemetery.
Claude was a youth leader and an active member of Reece's Chapel. He served his country for six years in the USMC, and an additional four years in the USCG, and he was owner and operator of Trionics Marine Electronics for 40 years.
He is survived by children, Claudette Mastin of Newport, NC, Cindy Renn and husband Wayne of Aurora, NC, Jeanette Chadwick and husband Jackie of Mill Creek, NC, and Teresa Jordan of Grimesland, NC; grandchildren Christie Quick, Patricia Randol, Eugene Lilly, Andrew Chadwick, Michael Lilly, and Amanda Gray; and fourteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Barbara Ann Hill, and two grandsons Justin Jordan, and Jeremy Lewis.
Visitation will be 2:00-3:30 pm Saturday at the Church.
