Claude Malcolm Gillikin, 56, of Havelock, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at his home.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Claude was employed with Carteret General Hospital as a Security Officer for many years where he found joy and fulfillment serving the citizens of Carteret County and the surrounding area. He was deeply loved by those who had the privilege to know him and be a part of his life.
He is survived by his half-brother, Ronnie Williams and a host of extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Cox and Eva Mae Gillikin and his biological mother Emily Elizabeth Adams.
