Clarence Brown

C. G. "Charlie" Brown, 78, of Swansboro, died Friday, Ocober 9, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.

Mr. Brown was a veteran and served during the Korean War and also Vietnam.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Bayview Cemetery.

He is survived by a son, Ted Austin of Swansboro; sister, Patty Jo Szlazar of Birmingham, AL; grandson, Chris Austin and wife Regina of Greensboro and a great granddaughter, Caitlyn Crow.

The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
