Mrs. Clara G. Rykert, 86, of Morehead City, NC died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Harborview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Rykert co-piloted a 1704N for thousands of miles, and was the First Mate aboard the sailing vessel, Seascape which cruised 47,500 nautical logged miles.
She is survived by her husband, William F. Rykert of Morehead CIty, and two sons, Del K. Rykert of Batavia, NY and Brad E. Rykert of Corfu, NY.
