Christopher "Chris" Gray Bowman

Christopher "Chris" Gray Bowman, known by his friends as “Carrot Top”, 54, of Newport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his home following a short illness.

Services for Chris will be private.

Chris was born on August 11, 1967, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, to Bill and Sandra Bowman. He was an avid fisherman. He loved fishing and clamming with his dogs, Midnight and Skeeter.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Bowman and the love of his life, his beautiful 7-year-old daughter, Allie Bowman.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Bill Bowman Jr. in 2001 and sister, Lori Lynn Bowman in 2011.
