Christopher North

Christopher North, 37, of Rocky Point, passed away Sunday, December 15­, 2019.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City. Interment will follow at the Polly Ann Davis Family Cemetery on Harkers Island.

Christopher was an innovative businessman in the field of marine parts, mushroom farming and mushroom cultivation products. As an inventor, he specialized in the field of mycology. In his free time, Christopher enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, mushroom foraging and boating. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father and as a self-made businessman.

He is survived by his wife, Amber North and children, Eric North (age 9) and Claire North (age 1 ½); mother, Jackie Stafford and husband Robert of Tulsa, OK; father, Alan North and wife Janet of Youngsville; sister, Melinda North; and brother, Anthony North.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
