Chris Ball, 54, of Hubert, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at his home.

Chris was born on July 22, 1970, in Pikeville, Kentucky, to James Ball and Pricy Leasure. He joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country with honor. Chris was a man who truly loved the outdoors. Whether it was hunting in the early morning, fishing, or hiking, he loved being in nature. Chris enjoyed cooking food for his family and spending quality time with them.

 A lover of all things spooky, Chris had a fondness for horror movies that brought excitement and suspense. His laughter, warmth, and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 Those remaining to cherish his memory are his companion, Renee Marshall of Hubert; father, James Ball of Morehead City; mother, Pricy Leasure of Morehead City; daughters, Erika Ball of Georgia, and Skarlette Ball of Morehead City; brother, Nathan Ball of Havelock; and two grandchildren.
