Cheyanne (Chapman) Gray

Cheyanne Chapman Gray, 57, of Newport, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
A private service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Gray of the home; five sons, Donnie Chapman of Kentucky, James Rader of Richlands, Phillip Rader of Ohio, Matthew Gray of Minnesota and Michael Gray of Wendell; daughter, Ashlie Battle of Princeton; mother, Betty Young of Havelock; two brothers, Gareth Chapman of Lenoir and Daniel Chapman of Newport; sister, Linda Tkachuck of Minnesota; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Chapman and two brothers, Donnie Chapman and Philip Chapman.
