Cheryl Ann (Becker) Connolly
February 13, 1955 — July 17, 2016
Cheryl Connolly, 61, of Newport, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Carteret Health Care.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 Friday, July 22, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City.
Cheryl loved nature and animals, and happily enjoyed her time here at the Crystal Coast on the beach. She was generous of spirit and deeply loved her children and grandchildren. Cheryl was very proud of her two sons and their achievements. Brian Mowry is a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, and Greggory Mowry is a mechanical engineer. Her beautiful smile and love will remain forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her husband, Marc Connolly; sons, Brian Mowry and wife Cary, and Greggory Mowry; brothers, Jay Becker and wife Sherry, and Thomas Becker and wife Patty; and grandchildren, Mia Mowry, Kyla Mowry, and Larissa Mowry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Becker.
