Charles "Chuck" Joseph Wiley, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Joseph Wiley, Jr., 59, Morehead City (formally of Kinston), passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home.

His Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel, Morehead City, officiated by Allen Ham.

Chuck was a graduate of Kinston High School, Class of 1976. He attended UNC Chapel Hill on a full academic scholarship. He and his wife Joy, were the owners and operators of C&J Enterprises for over 20 years, specializing in Satellite Television. Chuck, following in his father’s footsteps, retired from Dupont in Kinston in 2015. He had a tremendous passion for the water and was always happiest at sea. He was an avid sailor, fisherman, cook, and cyclist. He was also a proud Eagle Scout with a generous heart.

Chuck will be remembered as the life of the party, the man who was always on the dance floor. He was everyone’s personal handy man and a loving father and husband. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joy Wiley of the home; daughter, Tori Wiley of Morehead City; sisters, Carol Wiley and husband, Max, of Grifton, Sonja Unbehend of Cary; brothers, Willie Manning and wife, Lois, of Kinston, Quinton Manning of Richfield; mother-in-law, Joyce Fowler of Morehead City; sister-in-law, Tammy Fowler of Morehead City; brother-in-law, Chuck Fowler and wife, Pam, of Apopka, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, CJ and Margie Wiley; sister, Elaine Delauri; brother, Tim Wiley; and father-in-law Charles Darion Fowler.
