Charles "Blind Joe" Joseph Denby, 62, of Morehead City, died Wednesday June 13, 2012 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by a daughter Dawn Denby Kerr of Morehead City: a brother John Allen Denby, Jr. of South Carolina: two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the NC Division of Services for the Blind Raleigh Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-2001.
