Charles R. Williams, 70, of Swansboro, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.
The family will conduct a memorial service 2:00 pm Sunday at Silver Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Ledbetter officiating. Interment will be 2:00 Tuesday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd Norfolk, VA 23502.
Mr. Charles was a member of Silver Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Virginia "Ginnie" Williams of the home; a son Troy Edward Williams of Swansboro, NC; three sisters Mary Dana of Virginia Beach, VA, Brenda Cahoon of Portsmouth, VA, and Bonnie Hollowman of Suffolk, VA; two brothers Arthur Williams of Maine, and Joe Williams of Newport Richie, FL; two grandsons; and one great granddaughter.
He is preceded in death by a son Chuck Williams, and his parents Arthur and Cletta Williams.
