Charles David Thompson, 81, of Morehead City, died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
The family will conduct a memorial service 2:00 pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Glad Tidings Church.
Charles was a member of Glad Tidings Church, and he was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by three daughters Jeanne Thompson of Goldsboro, Tonia Gurganus of Newport, and Sherri Smith of Newport; a brother Ray Thompson of Goldsboro; a sister Margie Schaff of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Thompson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
