Charles Evans Stuart, Jr.

Charles Evans Stuart, Jr., 85, of Morehead City, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Best officiating.
Mr. Stuart was the Chief Magistrate for Carteret County for several years and he served in the U.S. Navy for over 25 years.
He is survived by three sons, Richard Stuart and wife Sherry of Morehead City, David Stuart and wife Judy of Newport and Russell Stuart and wife Wanda of Garner; four grandchildren, Stephanie Marie Williams and husband Jerome, David Charles Stuart, Dylan Stuart and Ronnie Rudd; also several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Howland Stuart.
