Charles Russell, 72, of Harkers Island, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Crystal Bluffs.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Huggins Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Gift officiating. Interment will follow at Armecia Lewis Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jenny Russell of the home; daughter, Erica Willis and husband Chris of Harkers Island; two sons, Chuck Russell and wife Debby of Montclair, VA and Vince Russell and wife Gina of Bettie; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Russell Baker and husband Donnie of Wilson, Lexi Russell of Montclair, VA, Zeth Willis and Drake Willis both of Harkers Island; two great-grandchildren, Jennifer Kitchen and Angelle Baker; step-grandchild, Justin Mitchell; step-great-grandchild, Brantley Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Russell.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at the church.
