Charles "Bob" Roman

Charles “Bob” Roman, 79, of Harker’s Island, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his home.

His visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 7th, at Munden Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in McConnelsburg, Pennsylvania.

Bob was born on August 21, 1942, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania to the late John and Virginia Roman. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Following his time there, he opened up an Army Surplus Store and later also the Sunset Billiards located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Bob has lived for the past 6 years in Harker’s Island where he enjoyed boating and collecting whatever struck his fancy. He will be deeply missed by his loved one’s.

Those left to cherish his memory are his companion of 15 years, Anita Cummins, of the home and her son Joseph Falkenstein, who called him step-dad; daughter, Joan Renee Smith, of Chambersburg, PA; sons, John R. Roman, of Chambersburg, PA, Chuck W. Roman, of Chambersburg, PA, Randy L. Roman, of Chambersburg, PA; sister, Patricia Ann Campbell; grandchildren, Jenna, Kelsy Wali (Colin), Skyler, Seajay, Abby; and great grandchildren, Oliver, Stephania, Wynn Rose Wali, and Marley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Roman.
